Lignosulfonate Calcium

Lignosulfonate Calcium

Calcium lignin sulfonate is a natural polymer compound extracted from wood and treated with sulfation. It is a calcium salt-type lignin derivative, which is widely used in various industrial fields, especially as a concrete admixture, ceramic dispersant and mining industry additives. Calcium lignin sulfonate has excellent dispersion, water reduction and environmental protection properties, which can effectively improve the fluidity and uniformity of materials.

  • Excellent Dispersion

It provides excellent dispersion effect in cement, ceramics, mining and other fields.

  • The Water Reduction Effect is Obvious

Effectively reduce the amount of water used, improve the strength and durability of the material.

  • Multi-functionality

Not only can be used as a dispersant, but also as a binder, water reducer, chelating agent and other functions, to meet the needs of a variety of industries.

  • Reduce Costs

By reducing the amount of water used, improve the strength and quality of the product, thereby saving raw materials and production costs.

Application Areas

  • Construction Industry

Used as a water reducing agent for concrete and cement, effectively improving the fluidity, compressive strength and frost resistance of concrete.

Used in mortar and cement slurry to prevent segregation and leakage.

  • Ceramic Industry

Used as a dispersant for ceramics to improve the uniformity of ceramic slurry, reduce pores and increase product density.

  • Mining Industry

In the process of ore flotation, it acts as a dispersant to enhance the dispersion of mineral particles and improve the flotation effect.

  • Agricultural Sector

As a fertilizer additive , it increases the strength of fertilizer particles, prevents breakage and enhances their uniformity.

  • Animal Feed

Used as a binder and modifier in animal feed to improve the strength and stability of feed particles.

Main Mechanism

  • Dispersion Effect

By reducing the surface tension between particles, reducing the agglomeration phenomenon, improving the dispersion and uniformity of the material, it is suitable for the dispersion of various granular materials.

  • Water Reducing Effect

As a water reducing agent, it reduces the moisture in concrete, cement slurry and other materials, and improves its fluidity and strength.

  • Bonding Effect

It plays a good bonding role in some adhesives and fertilizers, and improves the strength and stability of particles.

  • Chelation Effect

combined with metal ions, improve the solubility and stability of metal ions, and prevent precipitation.

Method of Use

  • Concrete Additives

The recommended dosage is 0.3% -0.5% of the cement weight. The specific dosage will be adjusted according to the engineering requirements.

It can be directly mixed with cement, water, and aggregate for use.

  • Ceramic Industry

Add in proportion to the ceramic raw material, usually 0.2% -0.5% of the raw material weight.

  • Agricultural Sector

When used as a fertilizer additive, add 0.5% -1% of the fertilizer weight to enhance the strength of the fertilizer particles

  • Mining Applications

Add 0.1% -0.3% of the total mass of the slurry as a dispersant.

  • Notes

When used as a fertilizer additive, add 0.5% -1% of the fertilizer weight to enhance the strength of the fertilizer particles

During use, it is recommended to conduct small-scale experiments first to ensure compatibility with other ingredients.

    • To prevent moisture from clumping, if clumping occurs, it can be properly screened and treated.
